About us
A table that is always waiting
Sarah Restaurant opened with a simple idea: serve the food we love to eat, in a room where nobody feels rushed.
Our story
What began as family recipes cooked for friends grew into a restaurant with a full dining room. The menu still starts with the dishes we ate at home: rendang that cooks for hours, satay over charcoal and sambal ground fresh each morning.
We cook to order, so a plate may take a few extra minutes. In return, everything arrives hot, fresh and the way it should taste.
We source from nearby suppliers whenever we can, and we are always glad to adjust a dish for allergies, spice levels or dietary needs.
What we care about
How we cook
Cooked to order
Sauces and spice pastes are made each morning. Everything else is cooked when you order it.
Local flavours
Pandan, coconut, gula melaka, lemongrass and chilli sit beside a short grill menu for those who want something different.
A table for everyone
Families, colleagues and couples all get a seat. Tell us what you need and we will set it up.
